Sunday, Sept. 30 – the big day for the seventh annual Emily’s Parade – dawned sunny but turned overcast with showers.
Despite the sporadic showers, the number of motorcycle riders between Columbine High School and Platte Canyon High School was estimated to have been roughly 10 percent higher than last year, and last year had the biggest turnout in riders since the first year, in 2006.
