The Renfro family of Bailey, which is also known as Flyboy BBQ in the competitive barbecue circuit, will leave Park County soon for Lynchburg, Tenn., to compete Oct. 27 in the 24th annual Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational Barbecue competition, or “The Jack.” It’s considered the “Super Bowl of barbecue competitions,” according to the event’s website.
The Renfros may return as the world champions of barbecue cooking. Details in this week's Flume.
