Park County’s 2013 proposed preliminary budget projects revenue of $26.4 million and expenditures of $29.1 million.
That means that in order to balance the 2013 preliminary budget, $2.7 million from fund balances will be needed.
A fund balance is money collected in previous years that has not been spent.
The preliminary 2013 budgeted expenditures of $29.1 million are $2 million, or about 6.4 percent, less than the adopted final budget for 2012.Details in this week's Flume.
