The Denver-based Regional Transportation District board voted 11-0 on Oct. 23 to award the contract for the Pine Junction Park-n-Ride permanent facility to Boulder-based Symmetry Builders Inc.
RTD spokeswoman Daria Serna told The Flume that the board members present at the meeting voted unanimously to award the contract. The RTD board is made up of 15 directors, four of whom were absent.
The $1.27 million contract was awarded for the project – a permanent Park-n-Ride facility built on land owned by RTD in Pine Junction.
