Oct. 24 grass fire burns three acres near Jefferson - Flume

Three acres of grassland near Jefferson burned on Oct. 24 before firefighters from the Jefferson-Como Fire Protection District were able to get it under control.
The fire started when sparks from a campfire were pushed by gusting winds. Those sparks blew into the grass and caused the fire.
