Fire victims’ tempers were smoldering Monday night – seven months after the Lower North Fork fire – at a community meeting held at Conifer High School on Oct. 29.
Tom Scanlan, who lost his house in the Lower North Fork fire, shared a PowerPoint presentation available on the Lower North Fork Fire website, [url=http://www.lnff.info" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;]www.lnff.info[/url], and he highlighted three areas of concern regarding the controlled burn that started the Lower North Fork fire: planning, monitoring and reaction.
