Ratio of veterans in Park County twice that of nation -Flume

As Veterans Day approaches on Nov. 11, Park County will feel it more than most because its ratio of veterans to total population is more than twice that of the nation and almost twice that of Colorado.
Some veterans come to the county to isolate themselves from people. With fewer than eight people per square mile, the county offers vast unpopulated expanses that are particularly attractive to those who have suffered the trauma of war. Details in this week's Flume.
