Bill Usher, a Bailey resident for almost 30 years who helped found the Platte Canyon Area Chamber of Commerce and served as its president, died on Nov. 12 after complications suffered from a hip operation.
A memorial service has been set for Saturday, Nov. 17, at 11 a.m. at Risen Lord Lutheran Church, located at 12798 S. Parker Road, near Shaffers Crossing just northeast of Pine Junction. Details in this week's Flume.
