Park County has decided not to lease land near Fairplay to Park County Vision 2020 for a new location for Recycle the Park.
Vision 2020 received an email from Park County Planner John Deagan on Jan. 3 stating: “Since Mountain View is willing to operate a recycling facility on the site, the commissioners have decided that there is no benefit to having two recycling facilities at the same place and will not be pursuing a lease with Vision 20/20.”
