Hundreds of homes in four subdivisions in the Pine area lost power at about 2:18 p.m. Thursday after a tree fell into a power line in the Shaffers Crossing area just north of Pine Junction, according to Intermountain Rural Electric Association public affairs manager Bill Schroeder. At 4:05 p.m. Thursday, Shroeder said that electricity was expected to be restored within an hour and a half to two hours for three of the subdivisions. He had expected it was already restored at the fourth by that time, but by 4:30 it hadn't.
