Platte Canyon School District has canceled all after-school activities Monday due to the weather. A call was sent out to parents just after 2 p.m. that all activities at Platte Canyon High School and Fitzsimmons Middle School were canceled. Shortly after that, the decision was made to also cancel after-school activities at Deer Creek Elementary.
Paul Sandos, principal at Deer Creek, said that everything that was scheduled for Monday has been rescheduled for Friday. As of Monday afternoon, Superintendent Jim Walpole had not made any decision on whether to cancel classes or activities for Tuesday.
