Save the Date June 2nd Barks & Belts 5K was created by EAPL

SAVE THE DATE for the 2nd annual Barks and Belts 5K on Sunday June 2 at 9 am. We were thrilled with the attendance of vendors and especially racers for last year’s inaugural event, and this year promises to be even bigger and better.

Come join us for a scenic run through Bergen Park followed by fun, food and libations. Vendors will be on hand to share their wares; handing out samples, swag and information. Big Kahuna BBQ and Cactus Jacks will keep you fed and watered. In addition there will be music, face painting, a caricature artist and other fun activities to entertain you and your family. For the four-legged kids, Harmony Animal Wellness will be hosting fun, pet-related contests with prizes.

All proceeds for the event will go to two local non-profits: drive Smart and Evergreen Animal Protective League. These diverse and well-respected non-profit organizations do so much for the people and animals in our mountain community, so be sure to show your support and join us June 2nd.
