Fire mitigation is being conducted on 750 acres in and around the Deer Creek Valley Ranchos subdivision near Bailey.
Gary Finley, the vice president of the Deer Creek Valley Ranchos homeowners association, said the work was being completed through a $750,000 grant, and that it was being conducted by the Bailey-based Platte Canyon Fire Protection District.

We had mitigation done on our property 3 years ago through the grant and if you are a home owner in DCVR you want to look into this as it is a great deal!!!!
