"BOOGIE AT THE BARN” Series Continues with June 14th Evergreen Rodeo Weekend Dance at Alderfer Ranch Barn

Evergreen, CO – Halden Wofford and the Hi Beams will bring their rollicking stage act featuring a blend of rocked-up Texas honky-tonk and western swing to get the party hopping at the Alderfer Ranch Barn at Alderfer/Three Sisters Park on Friday, June 14th.

Opening for the Hi Beams at 5 p.m. is a great ensemble of well-loved local musicians: Cort McCumber, Jeff King, Dean Dalvit, Rich Jacobs, Johnny Turner. Steve Stoddard, Tom Worely & John Erlandson, known for the barn performance as "Rough Mix".

The Rodeo Weekend Barn Dance will benefit the Special Needs Program of Evergreen Park & Recreation District. Tickets for the Boogie Rodeo Weekend Barn Dance are $10 at the door and $8 in advance. Advance tickets are strongly recommended as capacity is limited. Tickets are available at the Buchanan and Wulf recreation centers, and at Evergreen coffee shops: Everbean, Java Groove and Susie's Cafe. Cash or check only. Food will be available for purchase from The Texorado BBQ Food truck. Wine and handcrafted beers will also be available for purchase at the event.

The dance will take place at the old Alderfer Ranch barn at Alderfer/Three Sisters Open Space Park. This beloved 100 year-old barn, operated by Evergreen Park & Recreation District, is only open to the public on a very limited basis. The Boogie at the Barn dances were created by John Erlandson, local musician and concert producer, and Pandora Reagan, both caretakers of the Alderfer Ranch House as a way to bring life back to the old barn.

”Boogie at the Barn” is sponsored by Colorado Serenity, Marmalade, The Green Merchant, Adams Plumbing, Intero Real Estate, Warren and Betsy Rose, Chow Down, Tom Carby Insurance, Evergreen Park & Recreation District and Stone Heart Gallery and produced by John & Pandora Productions.

In addition, four original paintings of the barn from local artists at Stoneheart Gallery were created for the Boogie at the Barn series and will be sold at the event to benefit the barn restoration. These paintings can be viewed and purchased in advance as well at the gallery in downtown Evergreen.
