Containment on the Lime Gulch fire south of Conifer and four miles north of Buffalo Creek has been upgraded to 5 percent, according to a Twitter post from the U.S Forest Service at 9:10 p.m. Thursday. It was still estimated at 600 acres by 10 p.m. on the Forest Service InciWeb.org website.
At 5 p.m. Thursday, the fire was estimated at 600 acres with 0 percent containment, according to Nick Cronquist, one of the information officers with the Type 2 team of the U.S. Forest Service.
