Body of missing woman found near Bailey - The Flume

The body of LeAnn Meyer, a woman missing for months from Wheat Ridge, was found near Bailey, and the Park County Sheriff’s Office is involved in a possible homicide investigation.
A group of people called the Park County Sheriff’s Office after finding human remains near their cabin on July 4.
Park County Undersheriff Monte Gore said he couldn’t comment other than to say the Park County Sheriff’s Office was partnering with the Wheat Ridge Police Department on the homicide investigation.

At least there is closure for the family now. I hope they get some leads from this that lead to an arrest.

WHEAT RIDGE - The roommate of missing Wheat Ridge woman Leann "Annie" Meyers was arrested for murder Monday.

Park County deputies assisted in the arrest Lakewood resident Melissa Miller, 54, after Meyers' remains were found near a Park County cabin July 4.
