One man was killed in a one-vehicle crash on U.S. 285 north of Shaffers Crossing on July 8.
The crash happened around 9:40 a.m. Monday when a northbound semitrailer struck a guard rail and traveled down a steep embankment on the east side of the road.
Colorado State Patrol Trooper Nate Reid said the semitrailer rolled one complete time, with the trailer coming to rest on top of the cab of a 2007 Mack truck.
