he St. Mary of the Rockies Harvest Festival on Aug. 25 in
Bailey attracted close to 800 people to the church grounds on Bulldogger Road next to the Bailey Library.
A beer contest awards ceremony and a community mural were unveiled at the festival, which lasted from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Activities during the day included rides, arcade games, artisan and retail vendors, street performers, bingo, a silent auction and gift shop, raffles, food, a cakewalk and a beer garden with live entertainment, said Candace Harvey, a member of the church council and coordinator of the event.
