The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a criminal investigation into the alleged shooting death of a Bailey-area woman’s dog at the hands of an off-duty Park County sheriff’s deputy. Details in this week's Flume.
Park County Deputy Matthew Jackmond resigned this week, and an investigation conducted by the Jefferson’s County Sheriff’s Office has been turned over to the Fairplay office of the 11th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, said Park County Undersheriff Monte Gore.
