Our 13th Annual Wine Tasting, Presented by MyMountainTown.com, is November 23rd!

Not only do we have our traditional wineries, local cuisine, decadent desserts, and silent auction, this year we added our Festival of Trees!

The Festival of Trees is a chance for you to gaze and admire designer trees, with an option to bid on them and take them home. (Or, we'll deliver them for you!)

Discounted tickets on sale now for $30 by emailing or calling me.

A special thank you to Dave Erramouspe of Starfish Ads for designing this gorgeous poster! http://www.starfishads.com

Have a terrific Tuesday!
Dawn Smith

The Second Annual Festival of Trees is quickly approaching! Are you interested in decorating a tree?

This year there are two opportunities to get involved. Trees are FREE to decorate but all decorations are considered donations. The event will be Saturday, November 23rd at the Barn at Memorial Park in Marshdale. Public viewing from 11a-3p with the 13th Annual Wine Tasting & Silent Auction that evening from 4:30p-8p all of which benefit our Conifer Chamber Scholarship Fund.

Good Morning!
We combined the Festival of Trees with our Thirteenth Annual Wine Tasting and it's going to be fabulous! We have room for a few more trees; do you want to participate? Attendees will vote on their favorite and the winner will receive a banner ad on http://www.GoConifer.com and a photo of the tree and will be in the chamber article in the High Timber Times.

Tickets for the wine tasting are still at the early bird discount of $30. Join me and sample wine, food, desserts and coffee from

Aspen Peak Cellars
Spero Winery
Creekside Cellars
Avanti Winery
Rocky Mountain Ograno Gold
Angry Llama
Cabin Creek Smokehouse BBQ
Cutthroat Café
Gypsy Diner
Robyn Coates: Dessert Caterer
Seasonally Yours
Tuscany Tavern
Yvonne Marie's Patisserie

Have a great day!

LOL! You betcha - what a treat to get to spend the evening with ya! I'll be handing out the engraved glasses for the 1st shift of the night, then shopping and eating after that. Mayhem and mischievousness if I can get away with it too...

These were just delivered to the office a little bit ago - you guys get a sneak peak of the wine glasses for this Saturday! We only ordered 150 glasses and have sold over 100 tickets already so if you want a glass, don't be late!

Denise Bromberger of Image Marketing Specialists did the wine glasses for us. A long while back I know we'd talked about rotating back to Orange Kat LLC for some Wine Spirits tent tumblers for the Christmas parade (not sure if we got the sponsorship in time - Aspen Park Wine & Spirits nabbed that one!, or if they are available to fill our order, I'm not in the know on that event as much). We share between our Conifer Chamber members. :)

We are now up to 200 tickets sold! So if you plan to get a ticket at the door and aren't already on the will-call list, I'm sad to say that there won't be a fancy glass available, but you'll still get to enjoy all the wine, food, and music that you want! Our orchestra is now a 6 piece orchestra, and they'll be practicing tonight at the Barn from 5-8pm if anyone's interested in coming over and helping us decorate trees and the Barn. :)

We've got 61 fantastic donations for the Silent Auction so come prepared to buy! Some of the items include:
Trip to Napa Valley
Denver Nuggets & Rockies Tickets
Denver Zipline Tours - 6 zip tours
Golden Wellness - a treatment gift certificate
Hiwan Golf Course - Private golf lesson
2 Fly Fishing Lesson/Outings
Relax Salon - gift basket
Big-O Tires - one alignment
My Mountain Town - Advertising
285 Tourism - Gift Basket with a watercolor print from River Canyon Gallery and gift cards to several local businesses
Ponderosa Paws - one free dog grooming
Bobby Jo Birdsong - custom photo shoot for your family
Wine baskets!
and much, much more!

Some of the proceeds for this event fund our Scholarship program, and some help fund our 31st Annual Christmas Parade that the Chamber puts on for the community at no charge. We love bringing people together and supporting our community, both individuals and businesses, so please come out and have some fun with us! :)

I hope to see many of you tomorrow night!
