It was probably all in fun, but the fun ended with a gunshot wound to the head for 15-year-old Colorado Springs high school student Archie Tolley on Oct. 31, 1922.
The Flume of Nov. 17, 1922, said Tolley was with a group of other boys when one of them threw a firecracker into Alexander Meredith’s Colorado Springs yard. Details in this week's Flume.
