At the beginning of this school year, the eighth-grade students at Bailey-based Platte Canyon School District were issued 89 iPads in order to experiment with a whole new learning experience. Before that, the entire staff was issued 103 iPads in May 2012 to get prepared for the shift. Details in this week's Flume.
Helpful....but concentrating on core skills (RRR) and STEM may lower the rate of remedial courses required of the graduates in college (40% AT LAST REPORT).
