Approximately 7,500 customers of Intermountain Rural Electric Association were affected early Thursday morning by a power outage from about 1:45 to 5:30 a.m. that affected residents from Conifer south to Bailey. Platte Canyon schools were closed because of the outage and the cold. Details at
