Mt Lugo Luge - CANCELED. FeBREWary Still ON Feb 22nd!

Mark your calendars for a day of racing and beer tasting! We're combining our Mt Lugo Luge tubing competition (individual and team!), the 285 Optimists Downhill Barrel Stave Ski, and FeBREWary all into one exciting, fun-filled day for everyone in the family!

We'll have registration forms and more details loaded up onto our website a little later, but for now start thinking about forming teams and getting into that competitive spirit! We'll see you on the hill at Meyer Ranch Open Space!

Have you started forming your teams yet? Challenge other businesses/nonprofits/friends and get registered! The forms are available to download from goconifer.com , the cost is $10/person or $40/team of 4. Email them back to please. We're hoping that you will shortly be able to pay for your registration, and FeBREWary tickets, also now on pre-sale, via PayPal on our website - check back if it's not there just yet!

Our FeBREWary has become a tequila tasting as well! They are bringing in several varieties for us to sample, so you can cool down after tubing with a beer, then warm back up with a tequila!

Mt. Lugo Luge Snow Tubing Competition

COMPETITION RULES
Teams of 4 will compete for the Mt. Lugo Snowing Tubing Championship Trophy.

The first team member will “luge” down the hill to the the finish line.

Once across the finish line the next team member will proceed down until all team members have luged down the hill.

Team members can give a starting push to the luging team member.

You may choose to ride the tube however you like.

There will be obstacles on the luge hill. Aerial dismounts are encouraged!
An award for Best Aerial will be given to the individual with the best aerial dismount
during the team competitions.

Each team will have 2 opportunities to luge.

Times will be averaged To determine their best time.

The top 4 teams with the best time will compete in a final race in which all team members luge at the same time holding their four tubes together down the hill.

You will not be required to run your tube back up the hill

The team with the best overall time will win.

Additional team awards will be given for Best Costume.

This event is a fundraiser for Elk Creek Fire Protection District & The Conifer Chamber

PARKING: Please park at Aspen Park Village (near Los 3 Garcias) and take the Shuttle to the park. Parking at the park is not allowed. Shuttles run from 10:30a-2:30p.

We are sad to announce that we must cancel the Mt Lugo Luge due to lack of snow on the hill and no snow coming in the forecast. If you bought a ticket already, please contact the Chamber office, , for a refund.

We are still having our 3rd Annual FeBREWary though! So please come by for appetizers, and beer and tequila tastings at Los 3 Garcias from 1:30-4:30pm tomorrow. You can buy tickets for $15/each at Biggie Liquor or online at goconifer.com (click on the FeBREWary graphic).
