Bryan Hutchinson and Jason Strong, the ReStore manager, were wonderful hosts last night. They gave away $200 in gift certificates and discounted everything 30% for last night's Ribbon Cutting Mixer. We learned much about what our local Blue Spruce Habitat for Humanity has done for residents here and in the U.S. (they've contributed to building 70 homes!) through their presentation (video below) and a national Habitat for Humanity video they played.
Their goal is to start building homes here in the Conifer area as well in the next 5-10 years. If you have anything to donate, or need a home furnishing, please consider the ReStore (or MRC, IMHS, Mountain Peace Boutique, EChO, or Pick Up My Stuff) as your place(s) to go first!
