Stagecoach Park Shelter Ribbon Cutting Kicks Off Park Community Days
Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD) will be cutting a ribbon to celebrate the new pavilion being installed at Stagecoach Park on Sunday, April 27, at 11:00 AM, on the first of four EPRD Park Community Days to be held this spring and summer.
The new shelter was funded by the Evergreen Recreation and Park Foundation, which raises money through community events, fundraising campaigns, grants and donors to support EPRD programs and projects that the mountain community can enjoy.
Following the ribbon cutting, EPRD’s Park Operations Department, led by Manager Heart Cameron, invites the community to join in Stagecoach Park Community Day. Bring the kids and help spruce up the park, pull weeds, rake mulch, meet the new Park Ranger, go on a scavenger hunt, learn about park features, and enjoy a free BBQ lunch!
Stagecoach Coach is located at Stagecoach Blvd. and State Highway 74, at 3229 El Pinal Drive. MAP
The second Park Community Day will be held at Kittredge Park on Sunday, May 11, starting at 11:00 AM. Expect special Mother’s Day activities, including planting trees. The dates of the others will be announced later. Take advantage of the opportunity to give back to your parks!
Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD) was formed in 1969 to serve the park and recreation needs of the communities of Evergreen, Bergen Park, Indian Hills, Kittredge and Marshdale. EPRD serves approximately 23,000 people residing within its boundaries, and offers affordable recreational options to non-district residents. Learn more at
