FAIRIES, GNOMES AND ELVES PERFORMING ARTS CAMP (Pre K-1st grade)
Description: During this week we will delve into the rituals and lives of these enchanting mythical creatures. In addition to creating magical characters for an original play, which will be performed the last hour of the class, we will enhance the experience by making wings, wands and little gnome houses.
Grades: Pre- K-1st (must be at least 4 years-old-grade in Fall 2014)
Dates: Monday-Friday, July 21-July 25

PIRATES, PARROTS AND TREASURE PERFORMING ARTS CAMP (Pre K-1st grade)
Description: Our younger thespians join in the pirate fun as they work simultaneously with the Treasure Island Play Production Camp. Each day we will offer theme oriented crafts and games while we prepare our junior thespians for their cameo role in the “big” production.
Performance Date: Friday July 18th at 7pm
Grades: Pre-K-1st (must be at least 4 years-old – grade in fall 2014)

TREASURE ISLAND PLAY PRODUCTION CAMP (2nd-5th grade)
Description: Actors will participate in all aspects of mounting this fun filled production as they work on costumes and sets, along with creating the characters for this unique version of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic. The camp culminates with a performance for friends and family members.
Performance Date: Friday July 18th at 7pm
Grades 2nd-5th (grade in fall 2014)

FRACTURED FAIRY TALES PERFORMING ARTS CAMP (2nd- 5th grade)
Description: Students learn and practice the fundamental techniques of stage acting while working on a fun production featuring wacky versions of their fairy tale favorites. Students will present their master pieces in a performance the last hour of class.
Grades: 2nd – 5th (grade in fall 2014)
Dates: Monday-Friday, July 21-July 25

MAKE ME A STAR! PERFORMING ARTS CAMP Session #1: 2nd-5th grades
Description: A wonderful opportunity for young actors to learn, practice and review all the skills needed to snag those bigger and better roles in upcoming productions. This camp is team taught by a professional voice coach, a professional choreographer and a professional director. Students will gain confidence in vocal and dance abilities, as well as honing their acting and cold reading proficiency.

BEGINNING MANDALA-MAKING (Family Opportunity)
Description: Experience personal growth through the ancient art of mandala-making. Pat Andres, MA, Pacifica Graduate Institute, offers transformational art-making gatherings. She gently facilitates teachings around the power of symbol and metaphor in our lives, guiding participants to create an individual mandala, as well as a communal mandala. Possibilities for design and media-choice are many. Come with your ideas or arrive with fresh eyes and hearts and be influenced by others. Join her in this dynamic process of self-expression!
Grades: 5th grade - Adult (2nd -4th grade students welcomed with an adult)

NEVER FEAR, SHAKESPEARE IS HERE MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMP (6th- 8th grade)
Description: Spend a week exploring the wit, wisdom and words of William Shakespeare along with learning how to safely perform stage combat from our professional fight coordinator. We will use the tricks of paraphrasing to turn Elizabethan English into modern day thought. The week will culminate with a mid-evil party, the last hour of class, including an exciting Shakespeare scene performed for family and friends.
Grades: 6th – 8th (grade in fall 2014)
