June 7: Grill Your Ace Off BBQ Competition at Moore Lumber!

A week from today (June 7) is the Grill your Ace Off BBQ competition at Moore Lumber in Pine Junction. The conifer VFW, Bailey VFW, Conifer Chamber and our chamber will all be competing for the $500 prize for the team that receives the most taste-test votes.

We need support from our chamber members to come up to the cook-off and cheer on our cook team! Buy some voting tickets and sample some delicious BBQ!

Chip from Cutthroat and one of the cooks from Rustic Station will grill for our chamber.

Our western reenactment group is also going to do a brief show around 1pm at Moore - just to liven things up (and trust me, it will!) So PLEASE stop by on the 7th and smack talk the opposition!

Calling all Conifer Chamber members and friends!

Moore Lumber & Ace Hardware is hosting a competition next Saturday, June 7th between 4 teams: Conifer Area Chamber of Commerce vs Platte Canyon Area Chamber of Commerce and the Conifer VFW Post 12009 vs the Bailey/Shawnee VFW Post 8861. Each team gets $400 to purchase food, then it's up to them to determine a menu that will guarantee the most votes! The winning team receives $500 and bragging rights for as long as they can milk them!

We need a big show of support for our master grilling team. Our pit bosses, Steve Brooks and the award winning Chef Joe from Brooks Place Tavern, are stoked to get us braggin' rights over Platte Canyon! :woo hoo:

BUT, we need you to come out, VOTE early, and VOTE often. Then VOTE again!

Come out on Saturday, June 7, 2014 and enjoy music from Kicked to the Curb, an Old West re-enactment and the BEST BARBEQUE on the mountain, prepared by our secret chefs here at the Conifer Area Chamber of Commerce!
