In early July, Rose Hill, of Bailey, heard a commotion in her garage. A bear broke in and was trying to open storage containers. The Hill’s dogs chased the bear back out of the mangled garage door. However, that wasn’t the end of the saga. Hill, concerned that the bear might return to the garage and find food offerings in the house more to its liking, armed herself with two shotguns.
