COFA Smoking and Curing Meat Class AUG 23

18 Aug 2014 20:21 #1 by COFA
Got bacon? If you've ever want to know how to cure, smoke and preserve food, join us Saturday, August 23 for the first ever COFA cooking class led by our own William Johnson. 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

You'll make your own dry cure (after you learn what it is), and then see how you can put it to use: homemade bacon, smoked salmon, duck ham, duck confit (including what confit is!) and more. And since we're making bacon in class, we'll also cover how to use your delicious, smoky homemade bacon: BLTs with homemade mayonnaise, bacon s'mores, bacon and eggs...

The class is limited to 16 people. The first 16 to sign up get a spot. The cost is $10, and includes lunch (smoked brats, smoked chicken).

To sign up call Mike at 303-880-9878 or Scott at 303-584-9692 or email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
