The Park County Board of County Commissioners approved at its meeting on Sept. 18, three licenses to Happy Camper Cannabis Company–retail marijuana sales, cultivation and infused products manufacturing. The commercially-zoned property is on Crow Hill, about three miles north of Bailey.
Owners Daniel Sprague and James Flemming will utilize the 40-foot by 120-foot, two-story building currently on the property for the operations.
Both are from the Denver metro area. Flemming said he is moving to Park County if licenses were approved.
The three-acre property is on a steep hill on the east side of U.S. Highway 285, accessed from Rosalie Road by a long driveway. It was formerly owned by an excavation company.
