Don’t miss your opportunity to become part of the team at Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice! The spring session of volunteer training will be held Nov. 17, 19 and 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Guest speakers and staff members will provide an overview of home health and hospice, patient care activities, support services, advance directives and spiritual care throughout this 14-hour training.
An integral part of the Mount Evans team, volunteers donate thousands of hours each year to ensure the continued success of this nonprofit agency. Both short- and long-term commitments are available in a variety of areas. Administrative assistance, fundraising, transportation, respite care, bereavement support and patient companions are among the duties that volunteers regularly fulfill.
The training sessions will be held at the Mt. Evans offices, at 3081 Bergen Peak Dr., in Evergreen.
