Citizens Determined to Save McArthur Gulch held a protest demanding that Jeff Suffolk, CEO of Human Movement Management of Louisville, Colo., and Morgan Sanko, HMM series director, be removed from the Special Events Stakeholders Group.
CDSM held signs outside the Fairplay Community Center and debated with County Administrative Officer Tom Eisenman about his decision to seat Suffolk and Sanko on the stakeholders group.
The SESG held its first meeting Oct. 13 at the community center.
During its Aug. 21 meeting, the Board of County Commissioners decided to suspend any new event permits until January 2015 in order to come up with revised standards for future events.
