Park County forms task force to help develop new outdoor event regulations

A task force to help develop new outdoor special event regulations first met on Oct. 13.

Tom Eisenman, county administration officer, made the announcement about the new committee at Park County’s Board of County Commissioners meeting on Oct. 9.

In response to a letter from Shawnee resident Ross Bruno asking that Jeff Suffolk, Human Movement Management president, be withdrawn from the task force for a conflict of interest, Eisenman said the task force was balanced with representatives from all sides, so none would have more influence than another.

Bruno’s letter suggested other specific industry members without a direct conflict should be invited instead.
