Commissioners postpone decision on Granny Hash retail marijuana licenses

Park County Board of County Commissioners postponed a decision for a second time on marijuana retail sales and cultivation licenses for Granny Hash, Inc. in Lake George on Oct. 23.

The proposed location of the establishment is the previous Mountain Shadow restaurant on U.S. Highway 24 in Lake George.

A motion to exclude the petitions submitted at the Sept. 25 hearing and a subsequent map of signers’ residences was filed with County Attorney Lee Phillips by Denver-based B & B Law Group, attorneys for the applicants Karen Kinne and JoDee Weaver, on Oct. 23.

Since the commissioners had not seen or read the motion, Phillips advised them to postpone a decision on the licenses until they could review and decide whether to accept or deny the motion.
