Adopt an Angel serves families who would not otherwise be able to provide gifts for their children this holiday season. All gifts are contributed by generous residents and businesses across our local community. Your gift or donation will help a family in need. Christmas trees will be put up around Summit County with ornaments providing the age and gender of a child the week of November 17th. When residents visit a participating retailer, they can select their “Angel” and buy a new age appropriate toy for the child on the ornament. Gift drop off locations include Lake Dillon Fire (Station 8,2), Copper Fire, Red White and Blue Fire (Station 6,7), Summit County Sheriff’s Office, Breckenridge Police, Frisco Police, Dillon Police and the Silverthorne Police. Gift donations must be unwrapped and new.

Upcoming events that support Adopt an Angel:
Shopping Extravaganza at The Outlets at Silverthorne on Saturday, November 15th from 8:00 am until closing.

Holiday Bazaar at the Silverthorne Pavilion on Saturday, December 6th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Race of the Santas on Main St in Breckenridge on Saturday, December 6th from 4:30 pm until closing.
On December 18th, Adopt an Angel will transform the Silverthorne Pavilion into a giant Toy Factory, where thousands of gifts will be given to preregistered/preapproved families and children of Summit County. If you or someone you know would like to volunteer the day of the event please go online to SummitAngel.org and complete the volunteer registration form or call the Silverthorne Police Department at (970) 262-7320.

Thank You,
Summit County Sheriff's Office

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
