A 2008 WNFR qualifier, Tim Shirley, suffered a Watershed Stroke on Dec. 21. He was transported, via Flight for Life, to Penrose St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO., where he remained in a coma until Dec. 25.
While the former PRCA bareback rider has continually shown progression through three hour-a-day Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapies, his projected discharge date of March 3, will depend on his progress.
Thereafter, the 32-year-old husband to wife Mindy Shirley and father of two young daughters (Rylee, 5 and Ryan, 1) will continue in rehabilitation at out-patient facilities until he is well.
