After a two-hour discussion March 25 with organizers of a citizen petition, the Park County Board of County Commissioners authorized County Attorney Lee Phillips to draft a letter of intent to purchase Tanglewood Reserve as an open space park.
The letter was scheduled for the commissioners’ review on April 1.
The citizen petition, which showed 387 signatures, was spear-headed by Doug Windemuller and Jim Sapp. Both are Park County residents near Pine Junction.
