BAILEY, COLO. – The players on the Platte Canyon High School basketball team are asking members of the community to come help them crush cancer at a basketball tournament April 8, to benefit Isaac Conrad, a junior on the PCHS basketball team.
Conrad is undergoing a 42-week chemotherapy and radiation treatment program for Alveolar Rhabdosarcoma (ARMS), a rare type of sarcoma.
The proceeds for the benefit will go to Conrad and his family to help pay medical expenses and transportation costs while traveling multiple times a week to Children’s Hospital in Aurora.
Conrad’s basketball jersey number, 33, was the inspiration behind the 3-on-3 basketball tournament. All ages are welcome and encouraged to participate.
