AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT!
To Kill a Mockingbird
JUNE 5 & 6


We are pleased to announce auditions for our production of To Kill a Mockingbird by Christopher Sergel; directed by Justin Johnson. Friday, June 5 at 7 pm and Saturday, June 6, at either 10 am or 1 pm. Auditions will take place at the theatre at: 25797 Conifer Road, Conifer, CO.
Please prepare a 2-minute dramatic monologue. You will also be asked to participate in cold readings from the script within a group audition. Please bring a resume, headshot and your calendar to review the rehearsal schedule and provide any schedule conflicts.

YOUTH ROLES: Auditions for the three children’s roles will take place Sunday, May 17 from 1-4pm by appointment only. Please bring headshot, resume and calendar.

PERFORMANCES:
September 25 – October 11; Friday and Saturday evenings
October 3 & 11; matinees

Many people list Harper’s novel as their favorite book of all time. It won a Pulitzer Prize and has become an American classic. Young Scout Finch lives with her father, Atticus Finch, an attorney, and her older brother Jem in Maycomb, Alabama in 1935. When Tom Robinson, a black man, is accused of raping a white woman, Mayella, Atticus represents him, putting his own family in danger.
