Superintendant search narrowed down to three candidates

BAILEY – The Platte Canyon School District board of education met Tuesday evening to choose three finalists vying for the superintendent seat occupied by Dr. James Wapole, who is retiring this year.

Dr. Brenda Krage was most currently the assistant superintendent of Pueblo City Schools and has 20 years of increasing responsibility in the public school system.

Bryan Krause is currently the director of student services for Jefferson County Schools and has 15 years of increasing responsibility in the public school system.

Rim Watson is currently the principal for Fitzsimmons Middle School and has 24 years of responsibility as an administrator in the public school system, including experience as an assistant superintendent.
