FAIRPLAY – The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments Area Agency on Aging has drafted its four-year strategic plan to outline how the needs of older adults will be addressed in the region.
Public review and comments will be accepted until April 19, before the plan is submitted to the State of Colorado. Read the plan at

The agency is also requesting a waiver from the state to provide services directly to seniors.
The state provides funds for direct client services and prefers that they be provided through community agencies, rather than Area Agencies on Aging, which disburse funds through local, competitive processes.
