After an extensive search for a new superintendent to replace retiring Dr. James Walpole, the Platte Canyon School District Board of Education has hired Dr. Brenda Krage to helm the school district.
The board made a motion to select Krage at a special meeting April 21. The motion by the five member board was unanimous.
“I’m very happy, honored and very, very thrilled,” Krage said. “I’m looking forward to all the work ahead.”
Krage will start her employment with the district July 1.
