Members of the Evergreen Pathfinders invite you to the Evergreen Town Hall Meeting Thursday, May 28th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Evergreen Lake House.
The Evergreen Pathfinders is holding its fifth Town Hall with the central theme of this event being “A Community That Cares.” Each speaker will address issues that affect the lives of citizens in Evergreen and much of Jefferson County.
Speakers include:
Ellen O’Connor of Evergreen Park and Rec. District - update on future plans for the Buchanan Recreation Center and Evergreen Lake
Lynn Johnson, Executive Director of Human Services for JeffCo - ongoing problem of human trafficking
Scott Storey, Jefferson County District Attorney’s office - rapidly growing problem with elder abuse
Tina Francone, RTD district office - update on troubles with the local Call and Ride
The audience will be allowed to submit questions of the main speakers or approach the speakers individually at the end of the meeting.
Several nonprofits will also be in attendance at tables.
