Sheriff creates hotline for questionable marijuana activity

The Park County’s Sheriff’s Office established a hotline recently, 719-836-4117, so residents can report suspected illegal marijuana operations and other crimes.

Information can be submitted anonymously and all information will be kept confidential. The sheriff’s office urges Park County residents to use the hotline to alert detectives of possible illegal marijuana activity.

“If you have an illegal grow, you will be getting a visit from us,” Undersheriff Monte Gore told The Flume.

Two full-time detectives were hired by the sheriff’s office that are dedicated to only marijuana law enforcement.
