At the June 18 Park County board of county commissioners meeting, Park County Transportation Manager Tammy Crawford updated the commissioners on road conditions.
Crawford said that until surface water levels recede, washed out culverts and roads will only be repaired if an alternate route to residences does not exist.
She said last week a washed out culvert was replaced only to have it washed out again 12 hours later, so the decision was made to wait for most repairs.
As of June 18, eleven county roads were closed and another 22 were on the watch list for possible closure.
