About 20 residents of the Lake George subdivision, Sportsman’s Paradise, attended the Park County commissioners meeting July 9 wanting answers on when County Road 112 to the subdivision would be reopened.
The road was closed June 16 as a result of flooding from the South Platte River in one place and banks caving in along other portions of the road.
CR 112 intersects with Tarryall Road (CR 77) north of Lake George and parallels the South Platte River.
It is also the access road to Happy Meadows Campground on United States Forest Service land.
