Join the Park County Historical Society tour up Guenella Pass/Duck Lake/Porter ruins
The Park County Historical Society has another great upcoming trip on July 25th! We will head up Guenella Pass, to Duck Lake, just below the summit of the pass. We will be guests at the home of Julie Holmes. Julie lives at the site of the former Porter home. Elaine Porter and her husband Jim built the home in the early 1920's. Elaine was the 1st born child of Adolph Coors, born in 1880. As we ascend the pass, we will see other sites along the way, that intertwine with our destination at Duck Lake.
We will leave McGraw Park in Bailey at 9:30 on Saturday July 25th. We can meet attendees from the South Park side at Grant at approximately 10:00. Bring a sack lunch, and discover Park County history!
