Nearly one year after the bill was passed, funding for The Veterans Access, Choice and Accountability Act of 2014 (also referred to as the Choice Act) has been dipped into and some of its funds have been allocated to a new program via a bill voted on by the House July 29 and signed by the president July 31.
Veterans in Park County voiced their issues about the Choice Act with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to Dale Anderson, senior adviser to U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn (R) during the annual meeting of the Park County Senior Coalition July 30.
