Walking into Fun and Funky Art Gallery and Gifts #2, the new art boutique in downtown Bailey, there’s always jazz playing in the background, sort of reminiscent of those first days of coffee houses back in the 90s. There was just that feeling when you walked in that something was happening.
Something is happening. Art is happening in the canyon.
Fun and Funky has two homes, one on Old Stagecoach Road next to Coney Island, which has been opened since July of last year, and the new spot downtown. Both feature local artists and an array of artsy goodness. From whimsical, to traditional, both galleries offer unique hand crafted items to hang, wear, drink out of, put stuff in, or admire from afar. We’re talking amazing photographs, delicate jewelry, lamps made out of pipes, painted wine glasses, pottery, stained glass, Colorado hoodies and hats, soaps and lotions ... the list is endless.
